Kevin’s Story
For more than 35 years, award-winning professional photographer Kevin Richtik has helped people and businesses tell their stories through portrait and commercial photography while pursuing his passion for creating fine art that celebrates the beauty of Northern California and destinations around the world. A graduate of Brooks Institute of Photography, Kevin’s work has been featured in regional publications, exhibited in local galleries, and recognized through his ongoing Beauty of Stockton project, which has inspired thousands to see his hometown through a new lens.

The Beauty of Stockton Project
Launched in 2025, Kevin’s ongoing Beauty of Stockton series celebrates his hometown’s unique and often overlooked beauty through weekly fine art photography. Reaching tens of thousands of people through social media and print, the series continues to grow, inspiring a new appreciation for Stockton by showcasing its vibrant character, rich history, and remarkable beauty.
Portrait & Commercial Photography
Kevin began his career at Caroline Photography in 1986 at the age of 19 and became the studio’s owner in 2010, continuing its long tradition of professional photography. For more than 35 years, he has created portraits and commercial photography for thousands of families and businesses. His award-winning work has appeared in numerous publications, and Caroline Photography has been honored as a Best of San Joaquin winner more than 30 times.
